Maes-G ShowZone welcomed Jo Scott from Asda’s Community Champion team to ShowZone. Jo supported MaesG ShowZone in applying for funding for this year’s variety show project. MaesG ShowZone was successful in the process and are very fortunate to have received £1600 of funding towards Our Big Variety Show 2024!

A guide to the theatre

As a group we thrive to meet the needs of all our members. With a high-level of neurodiverse children we created a guide for the members about what to expect when going to the theatre to perform. This 16 page booklet is designed to reduce anxieties around the unknown of moving into Pontio theatre, and answer many of the frequently asked questions our children have. As well as providing each member with a booklet we hold frequent Q&As as we get closer to our performance date, with the hope of calming some of those pre-show jitters!
A special thank you goes to North Wales Housing for funding 500 of these booklets which will allow us to provide them to members for many years to come.

Funding Announcement
January 2024
The National Lottery Community Fund have approved £9,850 funding towards Our Big Variety Show 2024!
This funding will go a long way towards our fundraising total of £20,000.
This funding will help in ensuring that our variety show project will go ahead as always this year.
Funding like this is vital to ensuring work like ours can continue for years to come.
